Did you know you can create budgets in ADVANTAGE?

Budgets can be used as an effective and efficient tool for financial planning and analytical comparison purposes. It is possible to create multiple Budgets for any G/L Account or Dimension.

Budgets can be created quickly utilizing 4 different batch jobs:

  1. Import Budget from Excel Batch Job: This allows users to import budgets that have been created in Excel.
  2. Copy G/L Budget Batch Job: This function allows users to copy an existing budget to create a new one.
  3. Budget Amount by Period Batch Job: This function is used to create a budget for a G/L Account.
  4. Budget from History Batch Job: Use this function to create a budget for a G/L Account based on actual historical entries for that G/L Account.
